Al-IMAN CENTER

The existing one-story and cellar, 4,755 SF mosque located in the diverse section of Astoria, served the community as a praying hall and Islamic weekend school.
The program included the expansion of the praying area and a Pre-K through 12 Islamic school with a total of 39,000 SF.
ABUNDANT LIFE BAPTIST CHURCH

An abandoned 19,100 SF, three-story and cellar, wood and brick structure was converted to a community facility. The project consisted of a complete gut/rehab of the interior with new interior concrete footings and slabs on grade in the cellar level, new concrete retaining wall on the side of the building to create an exit passageway, new steel superstructure with limited interior steel columns while maintaining the existing wood floor joists and replacing any deteriorated ones.
JAMAICA MUSLIM CENTER (JMC)

JMC is a place of worship for many local Muslims, men and women alike. Our scope of work included the demolition of an existing dwelling to construct a new two story and cellar mosque with a total of 7,000 SF.
In addition to design services, our office obtained all approvals, permits and a final Certificate of Occupancy.
